It is not as easy as it seems. You wash them, comb them, apply hair conditioner and still no effect. Possibly each one of us had a bad hair day. Something sticks out on the one side, you can’t comb out something on the other one… If you don’t want to go through this ever again, then read below, how proper haircare should look like.
How, when and with what wash the hair?
It is a problem for many of us and the answer is very simple. Wash your hair as often as they need it. What does it mean? Some of us have to wash their hair everyday and some can do that less often. It all depends on the type of hair and cosmetics we use. Choose shampoo, which meets your hair needs and that fights with dandruff, dryness and oily hair. Equally important is how we wash our hair. Apply shampoo on a wet hair and with just finger tips massage the scalp. Wash your hair twice, because only then you can entirely get rid of dandruff, sebum and other impurities. Rinse your hair with cool water to seal the cuticles of the hair.
What is the conditioner for?
It is the complement of the whole haircare process. It should be chosen according the type of our hair and scalp’s skin. Conditioner will improve condition of streaks, seal the cuticles of the hair, help retain water in hair and make it easier to comb them. It should be applied on washed still wet hair, starting from about half of their length to the ends. After couple of minutes cosmetic must be rinsed. You need to do it very thoroughly, so its residue won’t weight streaks, cause irritations or greasing of hair and scalp.
Blow-dryer, hair straightener and curler are your worst enemies!
Well, maybe not entirely. However, dry heat will deprive hair of moisture and surely won’t be good for your hair. Streaks will become dry, matt and fragile, and split ends will appear. Do you have to stop using blow-dryer, hair straightener or curler? No, but use them with caution. Before stylisation with heat protect your hair with some protective cosmetic. Keep your blow-dryer in a 20 cm distance from your head and after hair straightener and curler apply leave-in conditioner or other moisturising cosmetic.
